  1. Nothing strange has happened, simply mixed up. He can be a good dictator but not a Democratic leader. Only confusion we are with is- he has his two legs in two boats. That’s why I have been telling Nation is a Sea- Democracy a Boat- Rudder in messed and wrong hand.

And, truth is Dictator’s days are gone.

  2. Haha, this is what OL and Bhutanomics mean by satire, by the way, OL still needs to explain that he is not connected to Bhutanomics, I think his FB page which was up and running for the last so many years proves that it could not be anyone else but he himself. The personal stories, his personal pics, etc, how would an impostor be able to get all that.

  3. @Redeem, do you have any answer to my question – ie OLs FB page connected with Bhutanomics, you seem to be an insider of the Bhutanomics or should we take your silence to be a YES.

    • @ Siren, i m sorry dear for being late to clear your doubt. For your kind information, I have got nothing to do with thebhutanese or OL or his blogs. Nor am i a Bhutanomics insider. I m just a simple man. For sure, I m against those traitors who rape the Motherland without any sense of fear from the people. May it takes years but such traitors shall be treated according to the law of the land. We don’t have law written for these Monsters yet. The existing Laws are for innocent and poor. Situation where-Lords like Mijur Dorji and the likes shall be rewarded , promoted and celebrated is called Monster’s Age . I guarantee you all these corrupts shall be given clean chit within few days. Our courts can do nothing in front of the new Monster. Those who are receiving black money as a rewards are defending here the Monster’s drama. Let hundred bark from Monster’s and his part and let alone be Me, I m not going to stop -for I m with the Truth. Truth has never failed on Earth. It takes time.

@Reedem Mate honestly if these guys are ever convicted I promise to live the rest of life without ever complaining or doubting the system, but truth be truth if Minjur Dorji innocent, tell you what even my mother is a virgin then.
@ Siren Mate now we know for sure that you are hardcore against all the other poltical parties besides DPT, well there is something called ;hacking as well’ there are possiblities of his cyber identity being compromised.

  4. At the outset, please be informed that I am not a member of any political parties and by the law; I am truly apolitical and non-partisan. Our Constitution grants the freedom of expression and I believe that the freedom of expression in a democracy must not be aimed for defamation rather it should be based on authentic evidences and other prerequisite justifications.
Further, freedom of expression should not be clumsy and for this freedom, the expresser must be responsible and disciplined by taking meticulous precautions. Till date, the Bhutanomics website has published huge information mostly about the elite and incumbent people, some are true, some are biased, comments are ridiculous, and some are dangerous for our fledgling democracy. Some of the incumbent politicians who served the nation for many years are put behind the bars, some in maroon robes and with best bib and tucker, some just bored the pants off the elite people, and comments on each article are always at sixes and sevens. While such website is must for democracy and free corruption society, it can also hamper and belittle our reputation of GNH nation. The readers must be cackled and chuckled because the freelance writers cum anonymous contributors has written much in hilarious way-I mean hidden truth in gags style.
In democratic form of government, the politicians and top bureaucratic people are legitimate target for satire and in middle-east countries, the top most people are caught for corruption scandals, sexual misconduct and other official misbehaves. No matter how powerful and rich they are, the law of land supersedes them by putting behind the bars. This mean for democracy every ruler must be have clean mind and the fundamental rights must not be ignored. But is this possible? Can ACC make Bhutan a free corruption society? While I truly acknowledge the tremendous achievements made by ACC from the date of inception in reducing corruption, there are certain facts that are brought down by Bhutanomics which needs strict ACC attentions. But If ACC dig out the every issue raised by Bhutanomics, then majority of Bhutanese will go behind the bars. I believe that we are small nation with countable population and directly or indirectly we are related to each other. That is why even if someone writes gawky article on Bhutanomics, the writer can be easily found out. But how many of us know who the freelance writers of Bhutanomics are?
    i. Tenzin Lamsang-become popular after he digs the Gyelposhing land scam in detail. He was called as Tenzin Badpath or Tenzin Landscam by many of my friends because he enjoys disrespecting the DPT people and enjoys truly in favoring PDP-People’s Disharmony Party. Earlier he worked in NDTV (New Delhi Television) and he is good in prodding news source, expert in advising Editor Sonam Pelvar to write something bad about DPT and misinform the public. He truly hates DPT. His writing skills is not even 0.02% of Dr. Sonam Kinga and if you don’t believe this, ask Lyonpo Nandal Rai. Even Nandal Rai can detect the mistakes made by ‘The Bhutanese’ newspaper.
ii. The second freelance writer is JTC-Jurmi Talisman Chowing who wrote many letters on behalf of PemaGatselpa to JYT on Bhutanomics. He keeps updating and writes dirty things about JYT in facebook without proper evidences. He tweets in the name of JYT and misinform globally. He earlier worked as editor of ‘The Journalist’ newspaper and later in Drukpa Magazine. Married to a foreigner, he hardly appreciates for developments brought by DPT. He admired one thing about DPT, i.e. his status about JYT in facebook. His knowledge is not even 1/5th of JYT, Dasho Karma Ura and Dr. Sonam Kinga. Enough can be defined as ‘enough’ only. We understood your intentions and we don’t need criticisms only. We sometime obliged to read positive comments.
iii. If a freelance writer posts article about PDP, then the group of freelance writers will directly ignore. These writers are politically influenced and biased.

    Enough is enough!

    • When there is no face for such nonsense why should an establish organization like ACC take action into something which holds no water….?

    • Jamyang Y S says:

      Dear Wakawaka,

Much appreciation for your wonderfully written opinion, but as the matter of fact it is bit of a disheartening when people like you blindly follow the norms and simply fall into that JYT is all good stereotypes.
More the less lets wait and see how much a man JYT is, like I always says he is measured, weighted and now conquered. His deeds are seeping into his character and I guess the man behind the mask will no sooner emerge and that is the time we shall laugh at ourselves and say what a fool we have been or rather you will laugh at yourself and say what a fool you have been. There are people in Bhutan who are beyond any doubt better than the rest certainly not all those ‘GNH bandits’ i.e whoever you have named in your letter at given point has had experience handling the GNH stuff, which I can not seem to understand and contemplate.
We are a straight forward people living in a straight forward society we now don’t need any double standards, these red tap-ism and autocracy is far more enough.

More over lets not involve the people who aren’t even sure you they are in this forum like I say if you doubt my identity as a Pemagatshelpa please ask yourself a question as you yourself or some battery operated plastic mannequin, if you say you are a human and a man I say I am true blue Pemagatshelpa or else otherwise if you say if you are not human and a man. (please man is strictly for writing no gender discrimination here).

Come on have a heart and admit that you leaning towards some political party as well it clearly shows in the last bit of your piece and that does not make you a saint either you are no better than us, so why call this forum and comment ‘sixes and sevens’. Mate get a grip and do some self analysis as well.

All the best in your future endeavour/s and enough is enough

Bhutanomics….I believe is maintained by a bunch of stupid people that has nothing to do. Everyone is entitled to express their views and opinion but not idiotic chants….Bhutan is a beautiful country blessed with good governance and leadership and as a simple civil servant Bhutan is blessed to have a leader like honorable Prime Minister.

    • then what are you doing out here?

      • willserve says:

I am just here to laugh what these loosers are writing…Now instead of turning most of the people to Anti DPT….they are converting into a pro DPT….But no worries…..This government deserves to serve for centuries…Its a national party like Congress of India…Hence will rule for a very very long time…Let others bark like the BJP

        • nomeanno says:

ha ha,,if u r here again replying this comment than i bet u r not here just fro laugh u r for something else, and that is ” I AM STUPID TO DEFEND MYSELF “

  6. Pemayanz says:

We like to paint a rosy picture of our GNH country for fear of being exposed to the outside World. It is what it is. Top leaders of DPT are full of corruption. Those who think Bhutanomics is stupid are the ngolops who want to sweep corruptions under the carpet and continue to get rich at the cost of poor people of Bhutan.

  7. Lyonchen may be popular but what we understand from this page is that he is not without enemies….sad indeed. But why did he earned so may people who hate him like this site? Instead of blaming others it is time to reflect and self introspect! No offense to anyone.

  8. Wisdom,

    Truelly said!

  9. bla bla says:

i don’t know y eople are after PM.. let’s see after 2013. If a different party other than DPT happens to run the government, we can imagine the cries of the people…. oh ho…

  10. gyalkhap says:

Honorable PM, Don’t worry, most of us(civil servant) are there to support you like in 2008. let those unlucky and loyalty person to say wat ever they like. They will cry definitely again in 2013. Best of Luck

    • For those few devils, our PM may been seen as a monster. But, for us, he is a god. Devils will never win over gods. Devils will have evil thoughts of others without knowing what they are. The more they write on this blog, the more they show their cynic character. However, all their bullsheets will go in vain.

  11. Reading Bhutanomics makes my faith for JYT even stronger day by day. Some PDP supporters will have to go to Bangkok after election to get treatment for major depression.

    • What if the result of the poll turns out to be otherwise? You will have to spend your last saving to go to Bangkok and hold a cup on the Sukumvit bridge to collect enough Bhat to get the drukair ticket for return journey.

  12. Jyt must really be a monster if he was born as that ugly teenager with rug-like hair and xxxl nose in 1952!

  13. What Monster ? he was a able PM and a good leader, could preach the GNH like a preacher, RA RA Rsuptin, lover of the ego queen, ooooh ! what a preaacher!

  14. After all the majority of voters during election are the illiterate villagers only!!! You all don’t have create all these nuisances in such forums. It’s like banging wall with your forehead.

  15. redemption says:

    This is just “bait”.
laid by the “free lance writers”
    who are “not-politically-affiliated”
    and supported by “well wishers”

    and everyone else is biting…

  16. prince of Pangthang-daza says:

This man might once have been somebody whom one could look up to, someone capable and true to the soil. But now he has turned out to be just another schemer, a narrow-minded politician (not a statesman) who has lost his way and does not know when to quit, one who cannot accept his own faults, one surrounded by yesmen, always on a short fuse and now sports a perpetual frown on his brow. Is this the kind of leader we want?

  17. willserve says:

I am just here to laugh what these loosers are writing…Now instead of turning most people to Anti DPT….they are converting into a pro DPT….But no worries…..This government deserves to serve for centuries…Its a national party like Congress of India…Hence will rule for a very very long time…Let others bark like the BJP

    • It would be like building a castle in the sand if DPT dreams to be like the Congress Party of India. We haven’t had our second round of election yet. It is too premature to hold such an opinion.
One might say the DPT was lucky in the first election, and it is not guaranteed that the same luck will favor this time.
This time, people of Bhutan have five parties to choose from. I am positive they will use the faculty of their mind to elect good people from their constituency.
However, looking at the way DPT seems to be campaigning prematurely in the pretext of reviewing the planned activities, our gullible rural folks look already bought in by the sweet words of the poetic, seasoned politician called JYT. He has the gifted talent of turning the adversaries in his favor in his eloquent speeches. Unless the aspiring PMs from the current crop of new parties talk as equally mesmerizing as the JYT, rural folks will see a stark difference and that will work counterproductive to enhancing the image of their respective parties.
We have yet to hear from the presidents of the new parties. Only after hearing from them, we can judge if they have the oratory weapons to stand against the formidable JYT.

  18. yup, he is such a monster that articles defaming him and calling him monster are available for all to see. Yes, such a monster that in the name of freedom of the press he does not take measures that an ordinary citizen would when they are continually slandered in extreme ways. Clearly he is such a monster that even though the media has always covered him and the government in negative biased ways, the government is still subsidising print media.

Only a monster would tolerate persistant negative coverage and personal attacks and still be able to suceed in leading a nation (see state of nation address). While all you anonymous trolls were attacking him, this monster was actually leading a nation. if he be a monster, i say more power to them.

  19. The god that democracy created is more apt. Whatever anti-DPT people say does not make a difference at all. JYT and DPT are 100 percent sure to win. I will give written guarantee also. No one in Bhutan is even one tenth as intelligent, eloquent, far-sighted, selfless, and honest as JYT. He has made Bhutan world famous. He has brought so much development in the last 5 years that we could never imagine. Only he can govern Bhutan effectively, no one else. Others will look only for their own benefit. I think DPT might outdo 2008 and win all 47 seats in the NA. Good luck DPT, no one is match for DPT. May DPT rule for a 1000 years!
