In Buddhist country Bhutan, religion bows down to politics. Otherwise…
Religion is being dishonored by jyt, he seems to be taking pleasure in blessing these Gomchens who are more learned than him. It shows how arrogant he has become.no man with humility or respect for our religion would even think of doing this.
“Two men looking out of a prison window, one sees the mud and the other the sky” Most our Bhutanese people only know how to draw out the negative aspects. What a shame.
Dumb and Dumber
Dorji you have an excellent saying “from behind bars” haha so you wish to be behind it to see the sky huh, the only thing one can do is dream for the sky then. One needs to see the soil they stand on first to see the sky, if you stand on shaky soil what’s the point of looking else where?
As a people, Bhutanese would quite easily qualify for being one of the most pathetic, the picture clearly depicts HPM as being very uncomfortable and yet we are all happy to have a go at him. If monks and religious figures come and bow down to the PM, what do you expect the PM to do.
In Buddhism the Sangha is one of the Three Jewels. It is wrong for a layman to accept obeisances from members of the Sangha. He should be showing respects to them.
He is almighty JYT, respect to others is something he’s not used to.

Respect is the key to happiness, when those monks bow down it doesn’t mean that the monk are seeking for blessing from him, they were just showing him the respect tha
t he deserves. This picture exactly teaches all of us to show him our respect. Thanks author.
Judging from the mindset of some characters here, those people appearing to lick JYT’s ass may be the first person to criticize him publicly.
JYT is giving blessing to the Gomchens in a different way. Our PM is real man who attended salvation so much so that he can bless the red robed ones. A typical way of using the authority of orange scarfs… a better punchline to publicize this would be ‘ My GNH your boss’.
