The infamous Chang Ugyen, an ex councillor sold 7 acres of government land to five individuals while he was a gup in 1987. He also converted his 2 decimal land into 3 acres as the Vice President of DPT. Despite his past, he is considered by many insiders as the Othello of DPT. Tall, dark, vocal, and corrupt. Has a kanchi in town. He is all out to place Baap and Wang dominance in DPT. Let me bring to your notice the following developments in the DPT camp:-
- To replace MP Tshering Penjore from Punakha with NC Chairman Namgay Penjore. Namgay Penjore’s wife’s brother is married to Chang Ugyen’s daughter (of Athang Institute).
- Kinga Tshering, former CEO of Bank of Bhutan, transferred his census a year back to Upper Thimphu and now will be contesting from there. Kinga is a Baap and distantly related to Chang Ugyen – not very close but a Bapp nevertheless.
- Current Thimphu Thrompon Kinley (Baap) is planned as Zimba replacement for 2018. Kinley and Kinga’s wives are related.
- Dr. Sonam Wangyel Wang from Wang transferred his census to Punakha to replace Namgay Wangchuk in 2013. He has played several archery matches, installed a flour mill, appears on BBS TV for no subject of his. Dzongrab Dago is Wangyel’s uncle. Dago and Chang Ugyen are Jaani Dosts.
- Namgay Lhendup the RICB CEO is contesting from Trongsa. Namgay’s wife is a Baap and related to Chang Ugyen.
While politics is a game, such dirty approach for ensuring Baap and Chang dominance in DPT is not healthy for the country and somehow the arrogant JYT’s ball is in Chang Ugyen’s hands. Does anyone know what Ugyen has that keeps JYT rolling to his music?

You are trying to mislead the Bhutanese people. There are no Baaps, Wangs, Parops, Sharchops, Khengpas, Lhotsampas. We are Bhutanese. (But not “The Bhutanese”). If you love your country, you should not be doing and writing things like this. It is fine to attack individuals like the PM. It is not right at all to bring regionalism into context when we are about to go for elections. My sincere request. Please refrain from doing this. You will take my request into consideration if you love your country. Otherwise we know what your agenda is and how you love your country.
But Don’t forget that what Bhutanomics mentioned above is the truth however you try to justify.And who knows if what is mentioned is infect the reality inside???.

This is a sad story but may be true?. Is he untouchable? Is he above the law? why ACC is not investigating him? This Govt has moral responsibility to order an investigation immediately on Chang Ugyen. People do not want such people as vice president of a ruling party with such cloud hanging on his head.
Whatever anti-DPT people say does not make a difference at all. JYT and DPT are 100 percent sure to win. I will give written guarantee also. No one in Bhutan is even one tenth as intelligent, eloquent, far-sighted, selfless, and honest as JYT. He has made Bhutan world famous. He has brought so much development in the last 5 years that we could never imagine. Only he can govern Bhutan effectively, no one else. Others will look only for their own benefit. I think DPT might outdo 2008 and win all 47 seats in the NA. Good luck DPT, no one is match for DPT. May DPT rule for a 1000 years!

Dr. Wang talks great but contradicts with his actions. I agree he is corrupt. Ask anyone who worked with him. But he is very clever, he knows how to make adjustments and keep himself clean and put the risk on others well. He grooms his subordinates in making adjustments too.

Be the case of 1900 century but if they have hampered state they shud liable for penalty. Don talk about, Tshogpon and H.M commeted corupted task before election. where they corupted? in japan or australia……? they corrupted in bhutan, so judge have ful wright to take action over unfaithfull official. They r official given power after trusting them but trust man do work wrongly and always look for their benifit. In regard to chang ugyen, ACC will later or sooner take action over it.
